Privacy Policy

Last updated: 7 October 2026

This policy explains what personal information AI Start Compass (aistartcompass.com) collects and how it is used. The site is run by Adsen, based in the United Kingdom, who is the data controller. You can contact us using the form on our Contact page.

What we collect

  • Contact form: if you send us a message, we receive your name, email address, subject and message by email so we can reply.
  • Technical data: our hosting provider (Hostinger) keeps server logs, such as IP addresses and pages requested, for security and to keep the site running.
  • Analytics cookies, only if you agree: if you click Accept on our cookie banner, we use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages are read, how people found the site and roughly where they are (country or city). Google Analytics sets cookies whose names start with _ga, which last up to 2 years. If you click Reject, or don’t choose, Google Analytics doesn’t load. You can change your mind at any time using the Cookie settings link at the bottom of every page.
  • Other cookies: we don’t use advertising cookies. WordPress only sets cookies for people who log in to manage the site. Your cookie choice is saved in your own browser so we don’t ask again.

Comments are turned off, so we don’t collect comment data. If we add a newsletter, adverts or affiliate links in future, we’ll update this page first.

Why we use it (lawful basis)

We use this information to reply to you and to keep the site running securely. Under UK GDPR, our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in running a safe, working website and answering the messages people send us. For Google Analytics, our lawful basis is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.

How long we keep it

We keep messages for as long as needed to deal with them, and delete them within 12 months unless we need them longer to handle your request. Hosting logs are kept by our host for a limited period. Google Analytics data is kept for 14 months and then deleted automatically.

Who we share it with

We don’t sell your information. It is processed by our hosting provider, Hostinger, and by our email provider, which delivers form messages to us. If you accept analytics cookies, Google processes visit data for us through Google Analytics, and this may involve transfers outside the UK under Google’s own safeguards.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your personal information, or object to how we use it, by contacting us through the Contact page. You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
